Kaay Money is a 20 year multitalented Female Artist , Singer , Rapper , Songwriter from Kankakee , Illinois. She an Aquarius born on February 17th , she's very sweet , she's shy , she has a "RBF (resting b*tch face) so people sometimes thinks shes mean or she doesn't look approachable but soon as you talk to her she's very bubbly and she lights up. She has 2 sisters and1 brother Shamone , Cheyenne and Trigga.
Kaay Money started singing when she was just 3 years old. She picked up a pen and paper and started writing music and poetry at just 9 years old. Music has always be a dream of hers she have always had a passion for it music. She's apart of Trio group "The815" with her sister Chy-Chy and brother Trigga, they made their first hit song "Candy Land" back in 2016 that Record Producer and DJ "Zaytoven" produced. Their hit song "Candy Land" blew up in 2017 during the "Musically era" the song now has over 12 million views across the YouTube platform and is also back trending now on TikTok with over 200k videos to the song. Her single "Same Way" also hit over 1.2 million views on YouTube. She's rising on all social media platform with being Verified with125.5K followers after her first account was banned at 567k followers on TikTok , 450K followers on Instagram , 146K subscribers on Youtube. All her music can be streamed on all streaming platforms , Youtube , Spotify , Youtube Music , Pandora and Apple Music. Her supporters look at her as an Influencer but she looks at herself as an Artist, because she has always been an Artist , she's been writing music since a very young age before people even knew she made music she was making music . Music has always been apart of her life since a little girl. Outside of music she's a Business Women an Entrepreneur she owns the lipgloss line " KaaysKisses " and she will soon be adding merchandise to help promote her new song "WHO FWM". When asked who she was as an artist she responded " I am very creative , I pay attention to details , I'm a student before anything , I loves to study The Greats that has come before me, because if you wanna be a legend you have to study them to be as great as them. I study lots of artist but a few are Baby Face , Toni Braxton and more artist in the R&B world. I try to captivate and create the 90's , 2000 sound, I try to be different than other artist out , I like to stay away from what's trending and do what's true to me , I like to be organic and stay true to myself ".
KAAY MONEYS CAREER :
Many things have happened in her career , of course celebrities have supported her, her songs have went viral but One of the biggest things that happened in her music career was , when she was 16 and still living in Kankakee , Jamaican artist "Steff London" heard one of her freestyles and she asked her to send her a open verse for a song. She was able to go in the studio and record a verse for her. She's also was asked to be the voice and face of "1-800-HURT-911 Accident Attorneys Jingle " , on the radio and have been for over a year.
When asked what was her breakout song she said "she doesn't feel like she had "her" breakout song yet. Of course when her and her siblings released "Candy Land" they had their breakout song as a "group" but she hasn't had hers as the Artist she is now. She said her breakout song could've been "Same Way" but she also think her breakout song could be her new song " WHO FWM" that dropped on her birthday February 17 , 2023 . "WHO FWM" is trending on TikTok and has over 11K views on YouTube right now. That song has had all the girls in a chokehold on TikTok since she released it. I know I'm one of them , it's definitely going to be a summer anthem and its going to be one of the TikTok Favorite sounds for a very long time. I agree that "WHO FWM" is going to be her breakout song.
The top artist she wanna do a feature with is her favorite Artist Toni Braxton. She also would do a song with Toni Braxton and Babyface together. Her end goal as an artist and a person is to be Happy , Content , and a Vessel to other people . She only wants to do the work God put her on earth to do , she wants whatever end goal God wants for her she doesn't want to set a end goal for herself because she doesn't want to put a limit on what God has planned for her.
